A new genre for me, made a dub version of a (bad) track. Not finished, i'm planning to make it more interesting and less boring. and make up a propper ending. i am pretty happy with the overall sound, though there are some small distorted sounds that need to disappear. there's also a low ghost sound that you can hear in the beginning and in the end, that's a bug in love philter (fl) hope you enjoy! comments are very welcome

okey, I like your beats (maybe some delays on the snares?) and the dark melo.. But I'ts a little to fast for me, maybe you can try to slow it down to 120 - 130bpm, and drop that bass a little so you have less destortion on your sounds. And to make it more interesting like you say, you can use some vocals and/or horns or something. BUT, you put work into it and I think this track is very nice for a first time with dub, so keep up ;)

thanks for the comments man... i'll put up an edit of this soon. i've tried a slower tempo, but it wasn't that good. i'm looking for some vocals, but i'm not sure about horns. either they're real and i can't record them or they're synths and sound terribly fake. or are there really good horn vsts around ?

the tempo doesn't bother me, and on my (shitty) soundsystem the sound quality isn't bad, cool drumwork! but indeed your song lacks some depth, I think mainly because a lack of fx, especially on your skank thingy (sounds a bit flat now). i would add reverb, delay etc. and/or try some variation in bass, synthline, ... can turn real nice! oh and I agree with you about the vst horns, they sound crappy

heh, you have no idea how many fx are already in there... my crappy soundcard can't keep up. but i'll try to improve the track and your comments are a great help. thanks
